Initial training

The mission of the FLI Training Network is tooptimize the training of students (M2, PhD and post-doctoral students) in medical imaging and improve their professional integration through :

    • Survey of initial training opportunities
    • Mobility support for students taking part in training courses, workshops or conferences in France or abroad. Students wishing to benefit from this support are invited to contact us by downloading the appropriate application form.
    • Leading and supporting the FINYS network of young imagers
        • Financing (room rental + catering) for an after-work event organized in conjunction with a congress, workshop, doctoral school day, or simply in a city where a large number of students from FLI network laboratories and platforms can gather. The maximum amount is €1,500.
    • Support for theorganization of a doctoral school day
        • Funding of prizes (best oral communication, best poster communication, best imaging photo, etc.) awarded to doctoral students whose work focuses on imaging. These prizes are intended to finance participation in a national/international biomedical imaging conference.
    • Support for innovative practical work on FLI platforms.
        • Pay for all or part of the platform time and/or consumables needed to set up and run innovative hands-on medical imaging projects. The maximum amount allocated is set at €1,000 per project, and is conditional on receipt of a report/review of the project emphasizing its innovative nature.
    • Support for theorganization of a training course, workshop, conference, summer or winterschool in conjunction with FLI partners(application form).
        • Reimbursement made directly to the event organizers when their request is aimed at encouraging student participation. The maximum amount allocated is €4,000.
        • Examples of financial assistance available:
          • Award of n scholarships covering mobility costs (transport and/or accommodation) for n students, up to a maximum of €500 or €1000 each.
          • Covering all or part of the accommodation costs for n students
          • Cover all or part of n students’ tuition fees
          • Financing of “my thesis in 3 minutes” operations
          • Participation in the prize for the best oral communication or poster
